RVT, Rehabilitation Technician
Coming to Energy Equine early in 2017, Megan quickly found herself the perfect fit as part of the team. Megan worked at an equine breeding clinic as a tech student. After graduating from Lakeland College in 2013, she moved onto an equine surgical referral practice near Edmonton. Her interest in equine sports medicine and rehabilitation led Megan to Energy Equine, thus a move to Southern Alberta with her 2 horses, Pre and Candi. In 2019 Megan obtained her Equine Rehabilitation Practitioner certification (CERP) through the University of Tennessee and is actively involved in rehabilitation cases alongside the veterinary team. She looks forward to expanding in this role and being part of a team that strives to make each athlete feel their best in every aspect.
Crystal joined us in the spring of 2020 as a recent graduate from the Olds College Animal Health Technology program. Before taking the AHT program at Olds Crystal spent most of her career in the livestock industry in southern Alberta, working in feedlots, ranches and then as a livestock inspector with Livestock Identification Services. She is also a graduate of the Agriculture Diploma Program from the University of Manitoba. Crystal’s passion for equines started at a very young age and has driven her to pursue a career as an equine technologist. In her spare time Crystal trains and competes in nose work with her Catahoula Leopard dog, Teague. Together with her husband they enjoy the outdoors, camping, fishing, and riding their horses. Crystal is excited to be part of the Energy team!
